Puritas Sath Diyawara is an impactful ESG initiative launched by Puritas Pvt. Ltd., the Environmental Engineering arm of Haycarb PLC designed to provide purified drinking water to communities affected by chronic kidney disease (CKD), often linked to contaminated water. The initiative which has been also adopted by the Hayleys Group of Companies focuses on establishing reverse osmosis (RO) treatment plants and efficient distribution systems, making a tangible difference in the lives of thousands. Expanding beyond this critical need, the “Going Beyond” sub-project uplifts socio-economic conditions with a strong emphasis on education, providing essential resources like books and school supplies to children. This holistic approach has garnered significant recognition, including prestigious awards for both the Puritas Sath Diyawara initiative and its “Going Beyond” sub-project, underscoring Haycarb’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainable community development.
